Fault (or HOPE ) in our Stars

Hi Love,

I went to go see the movie “The Fault in our Stars” and loved it. So so many lessons to receive from it.

The beauty of life, love, and the magic of what it means to be alive. I highly recommend it, it will shift how you love yourself and those you have (at some level- conscious or unconsciously) chosen to love!

A fraction of the lessons I got…

1. The most powerful piece for me is the notion that who we leave behind is the strongest impact we make in life. To love and to be loved. To learn from all that life offers, good or not so good, it all leads to a beautiful life.

2. That when you are called to do something, the end result is irrelevant, it is all about the experience.

3. When one person is down, balance can be re established by the other uplifting.

4. The thing about pain is that it demand to be felt.

5. Certainty is magnetic✨

6. All can have a change of heart and can turn from pain / addiction to a moment of goodness.

7. Seeing what is good in another, allows for beauty to unfold ( how the boy wrote to the author and says ” I’m a good person but a crappy writer and your a great writer and a crappy person so we make a good team”)

8. Others see the beauty of who we are

9. Talking about fears/ pain is unproductive, living and experiencing life is oh so fun and full!

10. A  positive attitude does not guarantee a “positive” outcome but it sure makes for a happier moment & life.

11. To live as if it’s the last day allows us to open to another and to our own strength, power, love and vulnerability.

12. Seeing what is good in the world and in people inspires us & others.

13. We chose who we love and who can love and break our heart. Choose wisely.

14. When we live to please others, life is a bit of a drag but when we live for love and experiencing and following passion & curiosity, we feel alive.

15. Cuteness is all about personality and attitude!

16.Hold fear/ death so close to you but don’t give it power. (The cigarette )

17. The position we have for another matters ( when she says at the funeral “not that it matters but I was his girlfriend”. It does matter.

And so so much more! I hope you are inspired to see the movie. Connect with me and let me know what lessons your received from it!!

Could not have been said any better! People waste years and never learn it. Definitely a must re-read!
